PLAYING AROUND:
cultivating creativity in the schools

•HAPPY.jpg
I really enjoy doing art projects with kids in the school that stimulate the imagination and offer different ways of viewing and experiencing the world. The kids work independently on their
"tile" which fits into a mosaic revealing the bigger picture once all the sections are assembled together. The exercise challenges them to interpret shapes and tonal changes using only paper, scissors, a gluestick and their imaginations. The kids are always amazed at the finished product
and seeing what they are capable of creating. These are the latest projects created by a grade
5/6 class and a grade 6 class. The results were spectacular - I think our future is in good hands
with these extremely creative kids!
