My latest series of artwork is now on display in my hometown of Sault Ste. Marie at The Art Hub at Spring, a wonderful art centre run by a dear friend of mine who I've known since grade 4. This series of mixed media works on paper and wood was inspired by memories of growing up in the Sault, where the woods were my playground and science lab. Still riding the high from being able to give back to a wonderful place where my creative journey began. Heading back up north at the end of the month to close the show with an art talk on Cultivating Creativity on July 27th.
Full circle: converted my parents’ dining room table and living room as a studio/framing/packing station in prep of the show!

Living up to my name as "Last Minute Linda": Dropping off the last 3 artworks 30 minutes before opening. Ai yai yai!

Opening night: with gallery owners Adrian and Marnie.

Highlight of the night: welcoming my high school art and english teachers, who had such an impact on my creative journey with their encouragement. I made a vow back then to give back through mentoring young artists.

Proud parents who supported my leaving home to pursue an art career. Thrilled to have me showing back home!
